Reliance MET City, North India’s fastest-growing integrated smart city in Haryana. The company has a successful FY 2022-23 with top companies setting up shop and 1,200 new residential customers buying plots.
This year Gurgaon has been emerging as home to over 450 companies, with tons of brands from seven different nations, with more than 2,000 residential plots sold for individual homes.
MET City has been developed by Model Economic Township Limited (METL), a 100 percent subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited, as an integrated smart city. Its infrastructure is on par with global standards and offers a “Walk to Work” advantage to customers.
The release said that the MET City has seen an addition of 76 new companies, bringing in an investment close to rs 1,200 crore while generating an employment potential of about 8,000. Many reputed global companies like Hamdard, Boditech from South Korea, and Nihon Kohden from Japan, know more.
It is also said that the residential segment, plotted development of three phrases was launched successfully. There are more than 1,200 new residential customers who bought plots, taking the total number to more than 2,000. This year also saw MET City winning the “Best Integrated Business City Award” by NAREDCO and the “Most Trusted Brand of the Year” award by Team Marksmen.
Another release said that these awards are testimony to the trust stakeholders have in the brand. It is also said that METL is also developing a world-class Greenfield Smart City on over 8,000 acres of land in the district of Jhajjar near Gurugram in Haryana.
MET City has got licenses for 1900 acres in phase 1 and they have already invested about rs 8800 crores on land and infrastructure works. It has also launched five industrial sectors, three packers of affordable residential plotted development, and two projects for SCO.
The release also said that the Reliance MET to date has attracted huge investment from various companies located in the project. The company also offers excellent connectivity to Delhi as the KMP Expressway passes through the project. The project is also well-connected to NH-9, NH-48, and NH-10 in the NCR.
After Dwarka Expressway is fully operational, it is going to offer excellent connectivity to the International Airport in Delhi. This is also close to the rail freight terminal and DFC corridor. The release is said by more than 450 companies including some of the best national and international corporations which are based in MET City.
The project has also seen the completion of trunk infrastructure which comes with power infrastructure including a 220 KV substation developed by MET City, a water treatment plant, a water distribution network-wide road network, and extensive landscaping.
